A dispute may be referred to either arbitration or mediation by Just Sport Ireland provided one of the following three conditions is met:-

• The rules of the sporting organisation involved in the dispute allow for recourse to Just Sport Ireland; or

• The contract/agreement in dispute contains a clause referring disputes should they arise to Just Sport Ireland; or

• The parties to the dispute agree in writing to submit the dispute to JSI for arbitration/mediation.
